Michelle first became involved with pet therapy with her Lab Dakota, deceased, who was a very gentle dog that did great in assisted living facilities, schools and community activities. Dakota was absolutely amazing with autistic children and those with disabilities. bringing a smile to so many faces.  Her present Labradors: Gabby, 9 years old, and McGee, 3 years old, follow in Dakota’s footsteps as pet therapy dogs in the elementary schools, assisted living facilities and community activities.  Michelle, Gabby and McGee love their volunteer activities with all the pet therapy teams. They bring smiles and new stories to tell just like Dakota. She also has 3 cats: Winston, Roxie and TC. They all get along great and enjoy each others company.
